Introduction

BasicTS is a deep learning toolbox for time series analysis. Whether you are a researcher in computer science or a practitioner in scientific and industrial fields such as atmospheric science, oceanography, environmental science, IoT, cloud computing, or energy, BasicTS empowers you to rapidly experiment with state-of-the-art AI methods, conduct fair benchmarking, and validate your innovative ideas.

Since its inception in February 2022, BasicTS has garnered widespread attention and support from the community. A significant body of excellent work has been built upon it, marking an incredible journey we’ve shared together. The open-source project has also achieved over 1,500 Stars on GitHub and fostered an active community of more than 300 members.

By incorporating extensive user feedback and through the outstanding efforts of our team, BasicTS has now officially been upgraded to BasicTS 1.0. This release introduces powerful new features focused on three core pillars: user-friendliness, multi-task support, and extensibility.
